Artist Development

Artist development is not simply about making better records. It is about developing the person, the creative identity and the career around the work. Clare works with artists, writers and producers to understand what makes them distinctive, how they work best and how that can translate into a sustainable creative career. Every artist requires something different. For one person the work may be about creative identity and confidence. For another it may involve relationships with collaborators or management, understanding an audience, navigating a label relationship, preparing for increased visibility or making difficult career decisions. It is to help identify what is already there, what needs developing and what may be getting in the way. Having worked across A&R; management, publishing, records, marketing and coaching, Clare can look at the artist and the career together rather than treating creative, commercial and personal development as unrelated problems. Clare works with emerging and established artists individually, or alongside their existing manager, label, publisher or wider team.
